At the cost of further learning and and improving my maya skills, I have concluded that it pays to have a beefier Computer so that no corners have been cut, rendering images and manipulating them pretty much taxes my CPU and render time... So I decided to upgrade.

Gigabyte N680SLI-DQ6 Motherboard tri SLI 6- quad ultra ~this cost me a leg (php.-16.5k)
4 gigs of ddr800 corsair RAM (woot!) ~Crossing fingers that I won't need windows Vista! (please gods of XP please have a patch for a XP RAM update!!!
250 gig seagate sata HD
Nvida 8800GT Palit 512 mb ddr3 @650 /1900 mhz fsb (ehem)
700 wat HEC PSU (is it me or is it hot in here???)
Ps: too drunk to assemble the parts, maybe 2 days from now... hehe
